Q. What is Sandy Hook Promise?

A. Sandy Hook Promise is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing gun violence and advocating for gun safety measures. The mission of Sandy Hook Promise is to educate and empower youth and adults to prevent violence in schools, homes, and communities. Through our proven, evidence-informed Know the Signs programs and sensible, bipartisan school and gun safety legislation, we teach young people and adults to recognize, intervene, and get help for individuals who may be socially isolated and/or at risk of hurting themselves or others. Q. How does purchasing from the store support Sandy Hook Promise's mission?

A. Proceeds from purchases made in our store directly support the development and delivery of our Know the Signs programs, which are delivered to schools at no cost. This includes development of training materials, educator guides, software, digital program, and salaries for crisis counsellors and training staff that help us to deliver our programs to schools. They also fund research to improve programs and develop new ways to end gun violence against children. A portion of funding also “keeps the lights on”: pays our staff, spreads our message and raises funds to sustain our mission.

Q. How can I track my order?

A. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this tracking number to track your package on the carrier's website.

Q. What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 30 days of purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you of the status of your refund after inspecting the item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable.

Q. Do you ship internationally?

No, unfortunately we don’t ship internationally at this time.

Q. Are schools exempt from taxes on purchases?

Yes, schools that are tax-exempt entities may be eligible for tax exemption on purchases. Please contact u at sandyhook@optamarkgraphics.com with your tax-exempt certificate and order details to process your tax-exempt purchase.

Q. Can schools pay with purchase orders?
